A late review: I went for Easter 2023 brunch with a group of 8 and the food was good. They served us and well and we made it quick. I think I would absolutely try it again just haven't yet.

My favorite pizza haven. Burrata pizza, squid ink risotto are my go to's Service is efficient Ambiance is cozy, can be loud most times ~ fun environment, great for parties The only con is the difficulty to find parking especially during peak hours

How pleasant it is to go to a restaurant where from the moment you enter until you leave, they make you feel amazing! Beretta was a delightful experience. The food was incredible. I ordered the burrata salad and the pizza with arugula and prosciutto. The place is cozy and very European in style, or at least that's what I thought and the feeling it gave me! Everything was super delicious, so I'll have to go back to try more. Thank you, team!

Pizza, Drinks, and Good Vibes I had a great experience at Beretta in San Francisco's Mission District. It's been a favorite spot since it opened in 2008, known for its pizzas, interesting drinks, and friendly vibe. It feels cozy and the drinks are really good. It's more than just a place to eat and drink, it's a place where people come together and hang out. I visited Beretta for the first time for dinner with colleagues after our company retreat. We went on a late Tuesday afternoon, and despite the indoor dining area not being busy, we decided to sit outside. I started with a glass of white wine and a beet salad, which was delicious and made me realize I was still hungry. I ordered their Summer Risotto, while my colleagues went for pizza. The pies looked very good, and everyone was happy with their choices. My risotto was tasty and the portion was just right. I passed on dessert, but a couple of my colleagues who shared a Tiramisu and couldn't stop praising its taste and quality. The service was excellent. Our orders arrived on time and as ordered. We never felt like our table was being ignored. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I definitely plan to visit the Valencia location again.

I went to beretta after a few years (just moved back to the Bay Area) - and it yet hits the spot! The perfect pizza with a thin crust and good filings. Love it!!! Best pizza in SF for me!

My friend recently chose Beretta Valencia to celebrate her birthday on a Saturday evening. She made a reservation at 7:30pm for our group of 9 so when we arrived, we were seated quickly with no issues. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, seems like a great place to for date night with the dimmed lighting and candles. It's not a huge restaurant but they also have some seating outside. As a group, we decided to order family style - 3 pizzas, 2 pastas, assorted apps, and a couple of rounds of drinks. Some highlights: + calamari: well seasoned, fried to a nice crisp, and delicious with the aioli. Wish we had more so we didn't have to share! ;) + cacio e pepe: yum! Flavorful without being toooo cheesy. + bartenders pizza: the burrata on there is a treat! Really fresh and creamy. Though, the pizza itself wasn't as spicy as I was hoping it would be. + chasing rabbits: a refreshing mix of vodka, lemon, honey, and blood orange. It was so good more than half of us at the table ordered it. Portion wise, the assortment was enough for us to share as a group to leave satisfied, but not entirely full. Prices were decent. Maybe a little more than I'd like to pay for the amount we received but also understanding that we're in SF. Service was great, especially when it came to us constantly adding to our order. Our server easily took our many requests without complaint. One note for big groups: they can split the check with 3 cards max. For parking, we did have to circle the block a few times to find something but eventually we ended up finding street parking in the neighborhood a couple of blocks away. Just prep some time ahead if you plan to drive!

A Pizza Paradise at Beretta Valencia Tucked away in the vibrant Valencia corridor of San Francisco, Beretta offers a pizza experience that ranges from traditionally delightful to creatively intriguing. On a recent visit with a group of seven, we embarked on a journey through their diverse pizza offerings, ordering four different pies to share. Let's start with the standout stars: The Margherita Burrata pizza was a revelation. While purists might balk at the addition of burrata to a classic Margherita, this combination worked beautifully. The crust struck that perfect balance between crisp and chewy, providing an ideal canvas for the luscious burrata. Each bite was a harmonious blend of tangy tomato sauce, creamy cheese, and fragrant basil. But the true showstopper was the Prosciutto di Parma pizza. This pie elevated the art of pizza-making to new heights. The saltiness of the prosciutto paired exquisitely with the other toppings, creating a flavor profile that was nothing short of incredible. It's the kind of pizza that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over. The other two pizzas we tried - the Spicy Soppressata and the Bartender's Choice - while solid, didn't quite reach the same heights as their counterparts. The Spicy Soppressata, in particular, featured toppings that didn't resonate with my personal taste preferences, though I acknowledge this is more a matter of individual preference than a reflection on the pizza's quality. What united all four pizzas was the consistently excellent crust and the well-balanced ratio of sauce to cheese. It's clear that Beretta takes pride in nailing these fundamental elements of great pizza-making. Beyond the food, the service at Beretta was a highlight of the evening. Our servers were attentive, sweet, and went above and beyond to ensure our large group had a memorable experience. Their warmth and efficiency added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. While not every pizza hit the mark for me personally, the highs were high enough to warrant a return visit. Beretta Valencia offers a diverse range of pizzas that cater to both traditional tastes and more adventurous palates. Whether you're a pizza purist or an experimental eater, you're likely to find something to love here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Beretta Valencia in San Francisco, and it was an experience worth sharing! Nestled in the vibrant Valencia corridor, this spot offers a delightful blend of ambiance and culinary excellence. Food: We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and accompanied by a tangy dipping sauce that elevated the dish. The tricolor salad was a refreshing mix of greens, topped generously with shaved Parmesan - simple yet delicious. For our main courses, we indulged in two fantastic pizzas. The Fungi Misti pizza was a mushroom lover's dream, with a savory mix of assorted mushrooms and a delicate balance of cheese and herbs. The Bartender's Pizza was a standout with its robust flavors, featuring spicy sausage, tangy peppers, and creamy dollops of ricotta. Each bite was a burst of flavor! Drinks: I couldn't resist ordering a Mimosa, and it was a perfect complement to our meal. Refreshing and not too sweet, it added a celebratory touch to our brunch. Service: The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Ambiance: The outdoor seating area was comfortable and perfect for a sunny San Francisco day. The lively atmosphere of Valencia Street added to the charm. Parking: The only downside was the parking, which was quite tricky. Be prepared to circle around a bit or consider using a rideshare service. Overall, Beretta Valencia exceeded my expectations. Whether you're in the mood for a casual brunch or a delicious pizza dinner, this place has you covered. I highly recommend giving it a visit!

Popped on Yelp and saw there was a five minute wait at 8:30pm. Got to Berreta and got seated quickly, ordered the broccolini and the fungus pizza. Broccolini was cooked to perfection and pizza was just perfect. Definitely recommend for a low key date or a cute simple catchup. Today was a hot day so took advantage of eating Al fresco.

I'm embarrassed to admit I have yet to have a full-fledged meal here even though I still hear good things about the food all these years later. I did, however, stop by for Happy Hour when I noticed they offered a small but enticing menu of bar bites that could easily land on one of their dining tables. At around 6:30PM, I was easily able to find a solitary seat at the bar counter. Among several temptations, I chose the $10 Pizzetta Funghi. It was topped with mushrooms, taleggio, red onion, and thyme (photo: https://yelp.to/Ufl6DQjNER). The melted cheese was especially tasty contrasted with the toppings and the puffy, crispy crust. I ordered the $14 Rua de Flores, a tantalizing mix of mezcal, toasted pecan orgeat, lime, and ruby port (photo: https://yelp.to/kVQ9WXrEn4). It has whet my appetite for dinner here. FOOD / DRINK - 4 stars...satisfying pizza for one with a compatible libation AMBIANCE - 4 stars...pretty nice in here, not stuffy SERVICE - 4 stars...the servers were attentive TOTAL - 4 stars..a nice sampler of their culinary gifts here RELATED - Exploring the Mission?
